Enerpat Double-shaft Scrap Metal Shredder
Experienced manufacturers of industrial two shaft rotary shredders for light to medium gauge ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
The Double-shaft Hydraulic metal Shredders are designed and manufactured to be the most efficient, effective solution for shredding light to medium gauge scrap metal. Bulky scrap is reduced in size creating a twofold positive effect: increased material density and the liberation of valuable no ferrous metals which can then be easily separated using specialised sorting equipment.

High engineering and applied mechanical technology
The Double-shaft Hydraulic Shredders is constructed from high-strength steel and is the strongest twin shaft shredder in its class. The robust design allows for very high torque settings to cut particularly difficult and relatively thick material. The slow rotation minimises dust and noise output while increasing safety. The twin shafts, which we consider to be the heart of the shredder, have been pression engineered using the finest materials to ensure maximum strength and unprecedented precision. |
Digital innovation in twin shaft industrial shredders The Industrial Shredder PLC combines innovation with automation. The PLC automatically manages the speed change of the shafts according to the resistance encountered during shredding. When it recognises critical working situations such as an overload situation, it is able to take preventive measures to slow down or reverse the shaft rotation within seconds avoiding damage to the shaft or blades. The PLC also keeps track of performance variables (KPI´s) and monitors alarms and shutdowns caused by overloading. |
Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence The PLC is equipped with a responsive 10″ high-definition touch-screen which allows data to be uploaded and stored directly to own service portal. The introduction of Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) software allows our technicians to service and maintain most operations fully remotely. Customers’ requests for assistance are responded to promptly and down time is kept to an absolute minimum. |
