ENERPAT
Product Description
ABS is short for Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. ABS plastic is a lightweight and low cost engineering material which is easy to machine and fabricate. ABS is an opaque thermoplastic and amorphous polymer. ABS is characterized by good machinability, excellent aesthetic qualities, easy to paint and glue, good strength and stiffness. It is an ideal material for structural applications when impact resistance, strength, and stiffness are required. All of these characteristics lead to ABS being used in a large number of applications across a wide range of industries. This is also why ABS shredder is so popular.
ABS is widely used for machining pre-production prototypes since it has excellent dimensional stability and is easy to paint and glue. There are many applications for ABS. The typical applications can be summarized as appliance housings, children’s toys, machined prototypes, structural components, support blocks and covers.
Purchasing new ABS is a bit expensive and recycling ABS is a good idea to low down your cost. ABS is easily machined, sanded, glued and painted. So ABS scrap materials can be blended to produce new products and preserve high quality.
Size reduction of used ABS plastic single shaft shredder is the first step in whole ABS recycling process. single shaft Shredding ABS scrap to small pieces is a good choice. ABS single shaft shredder or ABS granulator is your ideal size reduction machine for choices. PROSINO offers several ABS shredders and ABS granulators for your options. You can contact us for an ideal ABS shredder or we can tailor ABS shredder based on your specific requirements.
After single shaft shredding, separating different plastics or removing metals from shredded plastic is your next step. This separation process is often accomplished by using a water system with different velocity water streams on top of each other.
After different plastics are separated and analyzed, the recovered ABS can be blended with virgin ABS to produce a desirable recycled plastic.
